Nothing says fall like a crisp, sweet apple. This tasty recipe can be enjoyed year round–in a bowl, on a plate or on top of ice cream! However and whenever you eat this crisp, you’ll be experiencing a fall essential.
1/4 cup syrup (I use sugar free)
1/4 cup honey
2 cups flour*
1 cup oatmeal*
1 cup vanilla plant based protein powder
1/2 cup butter
2 T. stevia
2 t. cinnamon
2 t. nutmeg
2 t. cardamom
*May be substituted with a gluten free option
Preheat over to 375 degrees. Prep the crumble by mixing all ingredients (except the apples) into a bowl. Use a fork or butter cutter to create a crumb-like consistency. Mix well.
Rinse and slice the apples. Place them in a 15×10 baking dish, sprayed or coated with olive oil. Top evenly with the crumble mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
