3-Ingredient Protein Bagel

I recently discovered Optimum Nutrition's Gold Standard Plant Protein. Who doesn't love 24g of plant-based protein? It's made primarily of organic pea protein and organic brown rice protein and tastes amazing mixed with water, as a shake. So why not experiment and create a 3-ingredient protein bagel? It's even gluten free and non-GMO. Here's how to try this delicious treat for yourself.


3 scoops Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Vanilla Plant Protein
3/4 cup Greek yogurt, unflavored
1 t. baking soda


Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix equal parts Greek yogurt and vanilla protein in a bowl. (I used about 3/4 c. of each)
Add a teaspoon of baking soda.
The consistency becomes rather "sticky," but grab a small handful and roll into balls. (Makes 2-3 balls)
Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray.
Roll each ball into a "snake-like shape." (You know what I mean)
Connect the ends of the "snake-like shape" to form the shape of a bagel.
Bake for approximately 25 minutes.
